Side layers 1 beaded necklace tutorial

The side layers design is classy and very easy to do. It is done with either 6mm or 8mm Crystal beads or pearls or any other type of beads. This tutorial was a very quick one and I just simply used the beads that I saw lying around. I also used a thicker thread and that is why the crystal beads are not very straight. ase if you want to try it, do use 8mm(size8) crystal bead with 10/o (size2) seed beads. Materials needed

1. Size 2 seed beads (SB)

2. Size 6 or 8 crystal beads(CB)

3. 0.3mm monofilament thread

4. Beading needles(optional)

Procedure

2. Pick 12SBs  and pass both thread through a CB

3. Pick 1 CB with each thread and pass both thread through a 3rd CB

You can repeat step 3 two or more time if you wish

4. Now pick 6 SBs with the right thread and 3SBs with the left thread

5. Now pick 2CBs and cross both threads through these 2SBs

Should look like this

6. Repeat step 4

7. Repeat step 5 but increase the number of CB by 1 each time

 Repeat steps 6 and 7 till you have done 14 or 15 CBs.(Repeat with 15CBs one more time)

8. Now start decreasing the number of CBs till you get back to two CBs

9. Now pick 6 SBs with the right thread and 3SBs with the left thread and pass both thread through a single CB

10. Pick 1CBs with each thread 

11. And cross both threads through a 3rd CB

Note: Repeat steps 9 and 10 the same number of times you did step 3

12. Pick 12 SBs and cross the other thread through these 12SBs

13. Pass both thread the last added CB and back into your work
